The service

Cab Connect is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent drivers. Cab Connect is not itself a taxi company and does not provide transportation. Drivers provide rides independently. This website is informational and for contact. It does not complete ride bookings in the browser.

Accounts

You must provide accurate details and keep your login private. You must be at least 18 years old to use the apps. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms. A suspended or deleted account stops receiving or offering rides.

Passenger responsibilities

• Book only trips inside the configured service area
• Show the pickup PIN so the correct trip can start
• Pay the confirmed cash fare to the driver
• Treat drivers with respect and follow applicable law

Driver responsibilities

• Hold a valid licence, keep the vehicle in safe condition, and maintain valid insurance
• Upload the documents requested (licence, ID, registration, insurance, vehicle photos) and wait for operator approval
• Go online only with a fresh GPS location when receiving new rides
• Hold only one live trip at a time
• Enter the passenger PIN before starting the trip
• Comply with traffic law and treat passengers with respect

Fares and payment

The passenger app shows a fare estimate before you confirm. Payment is cash to the driver in Fijian dollars. The apps do not process cards or wallets. Optional cash tips are paid directly to the driver.

Cancellations

Passengers and drivers may cancel in the app before the trip is completed. A cancelled trip stays cancelled and cannot be turned active again. There is currently no cancellation fee. The operator may cancel a trip or pause new bookings (maintenance mode) without ending an already active trip.

Emergency SOS

The in-app SOS control opens your phone’s emergency dialer. It is a convenience feature. Cab Connect does not operate a monitored emergency response centre.

Availability

Matching depends on nearby drivers who are online with a fresh location. We do not guarantee a driver, a wait time, or coverage of every address on Viti Levu.

Prohibited use

• Illegal activity
• Harassment or harm to other users
• Attempts to break, scrape, or misuse the platform

Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as-is. Cab Connect is not liable for the actions of drivers or passengers, accidents, injuries, property damage, or other incidents during a ride. You use the service at your own risk to the fullest extent allowed by Fiji law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Fiji. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Fiji.
